SIGNATURE STAGES
The Touring and Passhunter Routes
Signature Stages — Define Your Ride
Thirty years of guiding cyclists around the world has taught us one simple truth: no two riders are the same. Some wake up hungry for altitude and endless climbs. Others prefer the steady rhythm of valleys, villages, and long scenic lines. That’s why RAID designs two Signature Stages each day, giving you the freedom to shape your own journey.
The Touring Route favors rhythm—flowing miles, manageable gradients, and time to absorb the landscape. The Passhunter Route turns things up with longer distances, more elevation, and steeper climbs for riders who measure days in summits and vertical gain. On select days, the routes intersect at control points, offering a natural moment to reconnect before rolling on. Each evening, regardless of the line chosen, the day closes the same way—back together at the table, drinks poured, stories shared.
For traveling partners, this flexibility matters. One rider might roll into town early to wander, visit a café, or soak in an onsen, while the other stays out chasing high roads into the afternoon. Different rides, same finish. That’s the RAID approach: everyone rides their own day, and you come back together when it counts.
Each day unfolds naturally. Riders settle into their own pace and effort. Some days you’ll ride solo, absorbed in the landscape. Other days, small groups form organically—shared pulls, quiet conversations, a few kilometers together before drifting apart again. There’s no single way to ride, just space to find what works for you.
With multiple support vehicles on route, you’re never without options. The vehicles are always nearby—whether you need water, a reset, a lift up the road, or want to shorten the day altogether. No stress. No judgment. Just support, when and how you want it.
You navigate using your GPS, ride at your own pace, and shape your own experience. We handle logistics, timing, and support quietly in the background so the ride stays fluid, personal, and unforced.
This is the heart of RAID.
Different lines. Same destination.
Ride your ride—we’ll take care of the rest.
