One of the country’s most sparsely populated areas, the expanse of the formidable Colorado River Plateau is the setting for RAID’s jaw-dropping Southern Utah excursion. Get sucked into the incredible vistas of red rock sandstone that did the same for the likes of Edward Abbey and the film industry, all while experiencing some of the most challenging riding in the United States.

COLORADO: ASPEN
“Rocky Mountain High” takes on new meaning with our highest-altitude departure. With rides traversing the terrain around the storied ski towns of Aspen and Vail, this trip scrapes the top of the Lower 48 States, climbing Independence Pass at 12,000ft, Colorado’s highest road. Incredible summer mountain vistas paired with legendary local cuisine makes this an experience not to be missed.

JAPAN: TOKYO TO KYOTO
Our second trip to Japan is one of incredible roads, abandoned high-mountain passes, immersion in ancient Japanese culture, and a traverse of Honshu, the largest island. From Tokyo to Kyoto, RAID serves up some of the best riding in the world that only local knowledge can reveal. Like all of our departures, the space around the rides is nearly as enjoyable, with hot springs, traditional hotels, and omnipresent Japanese whisky filling our time.

CORSICA
The lost Mediterranean isle of Corsica, far removed from its French and Italian forebears, offers the first departure of our fall season. California’s Southland may have a reputation for sprawl and traffic, but on the overspilling rims of its vast bowl of population lies some of the hardest riding in North America. RAID’s SoCal departure shines a light onto the darkened corners of the LA Basin, with huge climbs that arc through thermal layers, tiny towns with unbeatable charm, and proof that splendid isolation is simply a bike ride away.
